Duties & Responsibilities

*Performing maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including oil changes, Air-conditioning repair, brake servicing, engine repair, etc.
*Diagnosing faults using diagnostic equipment and resolving complex mechanical / electrical issues.
*Carrying out inspections: Pre-delivery inspections, safety checks, and regular vehicle service.
*Reading technical manuals and schematics to understand vehicle systems and repair instructions.
*Installing parts and components: Engines, transmissions, suspension systems, etc.
*Maintaining tools and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
*Documenting repairs and service performed: Ensuring accuracy in service reports and parts used.
*Adhering to safety protocols and ensuring compliance with workshop standards.

Job Requirements
*Diagnostic Abilities: Proficiency with diagnostic tools (scanners, multimeters, etc.) to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
*Mechanical Aptitude: Knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and fuel systems.
*Electrical Skills: Understanding of modern vehicle electronics and ability to diagnose and repair electronic and electrical issues.
*Repair Skills: Hands-on experience in replacing or repairing worn and defective parts.
*Computer Skills: Familiarity with automotive repair software and technical manuals.
*Automotive Training Program: Completion of a technical program or vocational school in automotive repair can be highly beneficial and is often preferred.
