Duties & Responsibilities

  • Inventory management – Analyze parts demand pattern to ensure parts reordering strategy, stock aging and dealer monthly supply.
  • Prepare KPI to measure parts service level and fill rate efficiency to market from distributor to dealer and from principal to us.
  • Parts pricing positioning – Annual pricing revision with consideration against cost, market demand and market movement.
  • Strategic planning with customer support team to design parts campaign according to market demand.
  • Parts cost factor management – monitoring of exchange rate and implement changes to cost factor.
  • Dealer and supplier management – Prompt and precise ordering and supply to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • 3PL warehouse and logistics management – Monitoring and ensuring warehousing and parts delivery excellence.
  • To assist and guide dealers in spare parts related tasks e.g., identify part number, price, availability and providing alternative solution if necessary.
  • Monthly performance review with FUSO and MB Regional Centre for achievement.
  • Negotiate with principal for parts price optimization according to market acceptance.
  • IMS Master Price List systems maintenance update.
  • Half yearly stock integrity and validation – target at less than 1% of inventory value.
  • Perform any ad hoc or additional tasks when required by the management.

Job Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum8 years of working experience, with at least3 years in a managerial or supervisory role, preferably within automotive or spare parts operations.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, parts operations, and pricing strategies.
  • Proficient in data analysis, benchmarking, and report preparation, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in pricing management and cost control.
  • Good problem-solving skills with the ability to provide practical solutions in parts-related operations.
  • Experience in warehouse and logistics management (3PL environment) will be an added advantage.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities independently.
