Duties & Responsibilities
1.Managing effective parts processes flow for both internal and external customers and maintain an inventory for service departments.
2.Monitors the parts inventory and anticipates parts needs considering future new model years, trends and suggested stock orders with approval
from branch management.
3.Managing the minimum and maximum quantity to be evaluated for fast-moving parts. Maintain high part availability for service departments
4.Keep up-to-date records of picking list, requisition records and delivery parts from the store room.
5.Plan time inventory purchases to coincide with sales special order with discussion with workshop manager.
6.Create purchase orders for parts, verify quantity received and record in system.
7.Always check supersede part number upon receiving from HSTD to avoid discrepancy during stock check.
8.Responsible for packing, labelling and returning supplies if part failure or fault.
9.Involves analyze current inventory, spot-checking to ensure that actual inventory coincides with computerized inventory, checking on back orders
etc.
10.Requires working closely with other in the dealership, planning for the appropriate availability of parts and supplies and participating in forecasting
and revising plans.
11.Involves ensuring that at least one other person in the department is knowledgeable about inventory requirements and ordering systems.

Job Requirements
1.Ability to maintain proper parts inventory levels, to do proper labelling and to measure turnover parts.
2.Ability to utilize computers and computer capabilities for inventory, recordkeeping, parts information etc.
3.Knowledge of automotive systems in general.
4.Ability to develop and follow action plans to ensure customer enthusiasm and parts department profitability.
5.Ability to lead and train team members in parts department operations.
6.Ability to establish and control inventory system.
7.Knowledge of and ability to interpret inventory reports.
8.Knowledge of parts pricing procedures.
9.Knowledge of new models based on technical service bulletins and surveys.
10.Leadership skills including empowerment, coaching, organizing, planning and interpersonal sensitivity.
