Duties & Responsibilities
The Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for driving the retail sales performance of Mercedes-Benz and Fuso Trucks, with oversight of KA Trucks sales. This leadership role involves managing a high-performing sales team, expanding the customer base, maintaining strong relationships with current fleet customers, and ensuring sales targets are consistently met or exceeded. The role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership and commercial acumen, who can translate market insights into action.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution
Develop and implement a robust sales strategy for Mercedes-Benz Trucks in alignment with brand standards and market potential.
Mercedes-Benz and FUSO KA Trucks sales operations, HST Retail operation ensuring alignment with overall commercial vehicle business goals.
Monitor and analyze sales performance, adjusting strategies to meet KPIs and targets.
Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to acquire new customers.
Lead pricing negotiations and manage discount frameworks in line with company policy.
Team Leadership
Lead, motivate, and manage the truck KA and Retail sales team, ensuring high performance and professional development.
Set individual and team sales targets; monitor performance through regular reporting and feedback.
Provide ongoing training, coaching, and support to enhance team capability and customer engagement.
Customer Relationship Management
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, especially fleet accounts.
Oversee customer satisfaction initiatives and ensure exceptional service delivery across the sales cycle.
Conduct regular business reviews with major customers to ensure retention and explore growth opportunities.
Reporting & Communication
Prepare and present detailed sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to the General Manager.
Collaborate with the General Manager on business planning, budgeting, and strategic direction.
Maintain close communication with other departments including Marketing, Aftersales, and Finance.
Market & Competitor Analysis
Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
